Chrome Stormcaster Base

Two different important bases were once built specifically for use at Moussu Picchu. The first, known as the Forecaster Base, was originally a sophisticated weather forecasting device that had the "unexpected feature" of actually intensifying the weather instead of merely predicting it. The second, known as the Storm Condenser Base, was a device constructed from repurposed hailstone that had a powerful coil and fan capable of capturing and neutralizing stormy weather.

Both of these miraculous base designs were lost to the Trapsmiths of Gnawnia... until now! It turns out that the villainous Captain Crook discovered and then stole these lost blueprints during her raid of Moussu Picchu so that she could make her own pirated versions. However, she got the blueprints for each all mixed up and couldn't tell them apart so she combined them into something new that has the effects of both!

Now that the design secrets have been recovered, the Trapsmith at the Cerulean Skyport is able to forge this new, stronger, and shinier version using the miraculous combination of Cerulean Chrome that has been charged with the energy from Adorned Empyrean Jewels!

While hunting in Moussu Picchu, hunters will be able to switch this base to one of the following modes:

Forecasting Mode:

Doubles the weather intensity gained on every successful catch based on the type of cheese that is armed

Condensing Mode:

Prevents the weather intensity from increasing
